Hi to all and thanks in advance for any help you can provide.
I am an amateur with Project 2000, so forgive me if I ask the question
inproperly.

I have a baselined project where tasks are effort driven.
During a recent design review meeting (task), a person (resource) was asked
to attend who was not originally included in the baseline.
I wish to add the new resource to the task so that his time is captured.
Some of the assigned resources already have hours applied to this task. It
appears that when I add the new resource, the hours are recalculated and
spread among the all the resources.

What is the proper way to add this new resource, enter his time, and do so
without affecting the entries for the other resources already assigned?

Again, thanks for any help you can offer.
